Lexmark 10N0026/10N0227/18L0042(#83) Refill Instruction

1. The filling holes of the cartridge are located under the top.

    Remove the top before refilling. You can pry it off with pocket knife (for # 83, with small screw driver).

2. Make sure the correct color chambers you would like to refill with a tooth pick.

3. Place the printhead in several layers of paper towels to absorb any excess ink while refilling.

4. Insert the needle into the filling hole and slowly inject up to 3 ml.

    of ink for each color (#83 up to 5 ml.) until the color just begins to show in the white sponge.

5. Put the top back with scotch tape (#83 no need tape).

6. Set the cartridge in a little container for 5 minutes as a drip precaution.

    Clean printhead with a paper towel. Make sure no dripping.

    Then install the cartridge to make a test print.

* Suggest refilling sequence Yellow > Magenta > Cyan.

    Clean the syringe with water and shake several times to let residual water out before different color refilling.

* Refill immediately once cartridge empty.
